The lovely Citron Cockatoo parrot has the beauty of the larger Sulfur-Crested Cockatoos but is smaller and quieter than these large cockatoos, though is it is still quite capable of doing it’s share of screaming if it feels it’s not getting its full share of your attention. Also all Cockatoos tend to make boisterous noises in the morning and again in the evening. This usually lasts just a few minutes, but can be loud. The Citron parrot is not raised in great numbers in captivity. Its talking ability is limited, but the Citron more than makes up for that with its friendly and loving nature.
